“Story telling is not about structure, it’s about connection”
— Jas Waters

Jas Waters aka JasFly is an Director, Author, Television Personality and current Writer on the very popular television show, This Is Us. She recently made a guest appearance on one of my favorite podcasts, Brilliant Idiots, hosted by Charlamagne Tha God and Comedian, Andrew Schultz. During this two hour long episode they discussed several topics pertaining to the culture, the entertainment industry, and Jas' own story of how a hurdle she experienced and overcame in life, essentially helped her discover her career calling. Her story resonated with me because it's another testament of you have to listen and close pay attention the events in your life, trust the guidance of the universe and those higher and take heed to their lessons and teachings. It's what I preach to myself and others all of the time! I truly believe everyone's life is already planned for them and we just have to align ourselves with our purpose, rather than fighting against it.

It's actually a really good episode in whole, but if you want, skip to 1:16:06 (after they come back from their promotional break) to get right to Jas' story. I found it truly inspirational and also very comforting and believe you may too. Check it out and please comment your thoughts on what you maybe took from it. Whether you agree or not, voice your opinion in the comments.
